A series of creative prompts and references to inspire mother designers on parental leave to reconnect with their creative identity. The goal of these prompts is to reaffirm to mothers on leave that they remain creative individuals with identities beyond motherhood, by recalling the reasons they pursued design initially.
A series of encyclopedia-style books about the different meanings of the word ‘crush’. Everything has been considered, from the grid that crushes inwards, to the way each page crushes the content of the next through negative space, to the covers that crush into each other and so on.
This monogram mixes traditional blackletter type and a more loose style inspired by melted chocolate. The project was inspired by my aunt’s childhood “vision of heaven” of God, standing behind a chocolate shop counter, surrounded by Cadbury’s chocolate. The monogram then became a 3d printed chocolate mould, with packaging to finish.
This campaign addresses the pressures put on college students during ‘the best years of their lives, and highlights the reality of college and the fluctuating emotions that students experience, both good and bad.
“If you don’t have a seat at the table, you’re
probably on the menu”
This quote encapsulates exactly what this project is about: the table as a system and symbol of power. Almost one third of Irish people view dinner as a ‘chore’ or ‘stressful’. This project aims to contradict this, adding a puzzle element while keeping the tone political. The publication highlights the importance of the table and challenges the traditional systems that exclude people from the table.
Youthful, fun and trendy, this imagined campaign brings together ‘Vinted’, an online thrifting retailer, and ‘Duolingo’, a language learning app. This campaign aims to make Duolingo more accessible to young people by showing the connection between language learning and thrifting.
